More about You’ReIn

Did you know?

Rural areas across Europe face persistent challenges such as youth outmigration, higher NEET rates, water scarcity, and inefficient energy use. At the same time, these territories hold critical natural resources and strong potential for sustainable development. However, young people – especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds – often lack access to practical, future-oriented skills and innovative learning tools that could enable them to actively contribute to local green transitions and improve their employability.

About You’ReIn

The main objective of You’ReIn is to empower young people aged 18–30, particularly NEETs and disadvantaged youth in rural and semi-rural areas, to become active actors in sustainable development. The project promotes practical skills in sustainable water management, renewable energy, and environmental economics, combining digital innovation, experiential learning, and youth-led civic engagement.

To achieve this, You’ReIn aims to:

  • Develop interactive and immersive training content, including VR-based learning modules
  • Create a youth-engaged certification system recognizing sustainability skills and practices
  • Equip youth workers and educators through Train-the-Trainer activities
